  3. Im sooo glad Funke Akindele "Jenifa" won!! She deserves it!! Her role in the movie was nothing short of fantastic and she's always been an excellent actress :-)
Hope you win next year Linda!! We are rooting for you....xx

  4. Is it my imagination. Men winning so much more than the women. I hope the Judges are not sexist like most things in Nigeria

  5. Awww, well done to all particularly Lamide.

I love your dress. Personally I would never wear black shoes on a gold dress just cause I think it brings the outfit a couple of notches lower but you pulled it off. Fine girl.

  6. me like ur shoes but not with d dress

  7. I love ur dress, but the shoes and bag didn't work for me.You looked good though.

  8. YOur dress is HOT!!! I think it would have been nice with an open toe shoe or something. Not feeling the shoe at least in that pic.

Good luck next year, was hoping you would win.

  10. If I may, I think you you killed that dress...

I like Awards like this...There are some categories that I don't get though like :

    Best Use of Advocacy
    and
    Best Use of Technology

Overall, I like the concept and the award...

  11. I like the dress, but I felt that you should have wore different shoes with the dress, nevertheless, you look beautiful. I wish Asa won an award though, bcos she's a legend in making. I'm happy for Funke Akindele, she's a talented actress. I will have to see the movie, "Jenifa", I heard it's a good movie.

  18. You looked good, although the shoes didn't really work well with the dress. Better luck with the award next year.
I get disappointed anytime I see Asa not getting the recognition she deserves in Nigeria....the main award she won in 2008 was in France....but you can't stop a true star. She is definitely going places, with or without recognition in Nigeria.

  19. linda those shoes are sooooooo wrong men!!! wat were u thinking? and that dress is not very age appropriate. im sure u could have pulled together something much better afterall i thot u were Nigeria's answer to Tyra Banks. no beef o but its just that i have never been impressed by ur outfits but u know i have got nothing but love for you!

    better luck next time darling!!

  21. The Future Awards is definitely a nice concept. Altho, I don't get the comedy category too. Omobaba's win (not so sure about that).

Nice dress too, Linda. U'll win next year.

I really agree with the comments about Asa. She's really not getting enough recognition in Nigeria. Let's hope that changes soon.

  31. Linda, you looked dashing.BUT,imost of your dresses are short,.we all know you have lovely legs.
Next outing, wear a long dress with or without a long slit,a long black spagetti strap dress will look good on you.then try wrapping your hair up for a change with dangling earings----change is good.
just try new thing,we r getting used to Linda n a short dress and her hair down, parted in the center .
