GUS 4 contestant dies!!!

One of the contestants in Gulder Ultimate Search 4 is dead. Anthony Mudiaga Ogadje died on Saturday August 4th 2007 from a drowning accident at Shere Hill, Jos, Plateau State, location of the reality TV show organised by Nigerian Breweries Plc. He was a 25 year old Geology graduate of Delta State University, Abraka. The search which was scheduled to start showing on TV from Thursday August 9 2007 has been postponed indefinitely. Sad! May his soul rest in peace.

  1. May he rest in the bosom of the Lord and my condolences to his family and friends. He only paid the debt we all owe, only he paid it too early.

  3. May his gentle searching soul rest in peace..Poor boy..My heart goes to his family.. NB PLC should rather employ our jobless and intelligent graduates rather than sending them to some obscure rats, snakes infested jungle..searching for what? maybe searching for a new site to build their plant.. Because of this unfortunate incident i will never spend a dime to buy Guilder or its affiliates or anything NB PLC product again Alas!...

NB Plc ain't nothing but a killer company making people drunk and sending them to their early graves..Blood money...Stupid mutherfuckers

NB PLC should also look at ways of consoling the family. It is not about money or payout, but something more dignifying like picking a brother, sister or relation of the deceased and awarding some kind of scholarship to wipe the tears of this family.

  9. We don't have to blame NB Plc for the death of this young man. The company is only trying in a way to make someone become a better person in life. Let's face it, we go through challenges every day and just because we are alive doesn't mean the work we do is less dangerous than what NB Plc is doing through the ultimate search. It's a pity the young man died and I feel for his family and friends, but then that doesn't change the fact that NB Plc is doing something noble and they should be commended for it.
Come to think of it, this life is a risk and everyone who entered for the competition did so at his or her own risk. As long as we are in this world, living is a risk we take daily and only God will continue to protect and shield us from death.
Rest in peace Anthony Mudiagu and I pray The Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit, will comfort your family in their time of grief.

  10. Its not NB's fault and its their fault 2.The guy drowned. They didnt pick the ten best. They used leg to pick most of them. Some of the contestants they picked just went to learn how to swim because of the ultimate search.I know some people that went for the auditioning that testified to this.

  11. Maybe we should blame d victim here who must've fabricated a white lie and told them he could swim. If u can't do anything, nobody can force u to do it na. May God protect us all sha.
