Trump's America: California wants to secede from the United States

I guess a bit of Chaos is coming to the US following Donald Trump's election to the highest seat in the country. The state of California wants to secede from the United States in a move that has been called 'Calexit', which if they succeed, would establish California as a separate country from the USA. This is the first time since 1861 that a state (South Carolina) would attempt to exit the US.

One of the people pushing for the recession explained why California wants out of the US;
"California is the most diverse place in the world. And we  want to have more minorities, more immigrants, more international connections"

The young man pictured above, destroyed a copy of the bible after a catholic priest, Reverend Fr. Ebubu Muo Nso, destroyed a shrine in his community in Ekwulobia, Anambra state. In the video, the man says he is angered that a shrine built by his forefathers could be destroyed by the Rev. Father.
"The more you burn the shrines the more version of the Bible I will tear, reverend father ebube monso arranged some useless boys to burn our shrines at ekwuluobia, that is why I tore the Bible again" he said Watch a video of him tearing the bible after the cut...

DSS invites controversial pastor, Johnson Suleman, for interrogation

After a failed attempt to arrest him in Ekiti state last Wednesday, the Department of State Security, has invited controversial Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, for interrogation over his recent comments asking Christians to attack armed herdsmen that try to attack them. He is to appear at the DSS Headquarters in Abuja on Monday January 30th by 10am.

Mark Zuckerberg criticizes Donald Trump on immigration

Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg expressed concern on Friday over Trump's latest executive orders on immigration and refugees.
"My great grandparents came from Germany, Austria and Poland. Priscilla's parents were refugees from China and Vietnam. The United States is a nation of immigrants, and we should be proud of that. Like many of you, I'm concerned about the impact of the recent executive orders signed by President Trump" Zuckerberg wrote in a Facebook post, which cited his family's immigrant background and his volunteer work with undocumented schoolchildren.

Religious crisis: CAN applauds Apostle Suleman for being vocal, says Osinbajo's silence on the matter is no longer golden

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has released a statement, applauding controversial clergyman and Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, for being vocal in the face of the repeated killing of Christians by some herdsmen in some parts of the country. 

In a statement signed by its special assistant on media and communication to the CAN President, Bayo Oladeji, the religious body kicked against last Wednesday's attempted arrest of Suleman in Ekiti state, arguing that his recent comments on the religious crisis in the country is permitted by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. They argue that Suleman is entitled to Freedom of Speech.

Southern Kaduna crisis: Audu Maikori reacts to his online backlash

In the last few days, President of Chocolate City Group, Audu Maikori, has receieved serious backlash on social media following his revelations on the continuous killings of Christians in Southern Kaduna.

Women forced to carry dead body of a child due to lack of transport

A group of women were forced to carry the remains of a child on their back due to lack of transport facilities at Dowa District Hospital in Malawi. Speaking to Nyasa Times, one of the women said no ambulance was made available to convey the deceased to the village for the funeral.

Drama! Presidential aide shares photo of President Buhari in the UK yesterday and some claim the photos are from last year!

Last night, President Buhari's personal assistant, Bashir Ahmad, shared a photo of the president in the UK where according to him Ogun state governor, Ibikunle Amosun and others went to pay him a visit.
 
Immediately he shared the photos, conspiracy theorists started analyzing it. Many said the photo was from President Buhari's visit to the UK last year. Someone even claimed Amosun was in Ogun state yesterday and couldn't have been in the UK. See more after the cut...

Nigeria Police declares Woman, Man wanted for stealing over N100million (photos)

The Nigeria Police has declared one Lilian Omekara wanted for the offence of conspiracy and stealing by conspiring with fraudsters to transfer over N29million to her account. She has since withdrawn the money and is currently at large.

Also declared wanted is Nelson Omuzagha. He is wanted for the offence of conspiracy and stealing in a new generation bank by fraudulent conversion of customers' deposits to the tune of N72million.
