Photos: Tragedy averted as speeding trailer smashes into building in Lagos

No life was lost after a trailer smashed into a building at the Kirikiri area of Lagos destroying several shops on Sunday July 16. The incident caused gridlock as most motorists that ply the newly commissioned Dillion Road had to slow down around the scene of the incident while evacuation by the police was ongoing.


According to an eyewitness, the truck was at full speed when it veered across the road and smashed the street lights, shops and the fence of a building.
