It was an intimate twilight affair, and featured no other bridal party except Kerr’s son, six-year-old son Flynn who was a ring-bearer.
In photos published in this month’s Vogue, the supermodel looked regal as she channelled a real-life princess in her classic long-sleeved custom-made Dior dress and pearl-encrusted headpiece. It was a breathtakingly beautiful custom Dior Haute couture gown. Kerr explained in the magazine that her wedding day inspiration was Grace Kelly and the gown she wore back in 1956 for her wedding to Prince Rainier of Monaco.
Speaking to Vogue about her dress, the new Mrs Spiegel explained:
'Honestly, I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful wedding dress.' 'I’ve had a lot of fun with fashion, and I used to be more wild, free, bohemian.
When I was young, my grandmother told me, ‘Miranda, men are very visual. It’s important to look good.’ I was like, ‘OK, Nan.’”
'But in this period of my life, my style is more pulled back. My greatest sources of inspiration have always been Grace, Audrey Hepburn, and my grandmother, who at 80 has an effortless chic: a nice pant, a white blouse, a scarf, a little heel.'
'Grace Kelly was a real inspiration with her dress and how timeless it is.'Guests dined on Miranda's signature dish - slow-roasted chicken scented with turmeric and lemon, replicated by caterers for all but Spiegel, for whom the model herself cooked. Guests were banned from posting on social media - even on Snapchat - and privacy was guaranteed thanks to a highly strung white canopy covering the garden.
Kerr and Spiegel met in 2014 at a New York dinner party and started dating a year later. They got engaged in July 2016 and got married in late May 2017.
Miranda Kerr was married to Orlando Bloom for 3 years and they have a son together, 6 year old Flynn Bloom.
