Graphic: Three men dressed in suit and found in an SUV burnt to death in Ikorodu after being suspected to be Badoo cult members

I hope they are not killing innocent people and calling them Badoo. Three suspected members of the notorious cult group, Badoo, were apprehended in an SUV parked on Oju-emuren street in Ikorodu in the early hours of today. According to the residents, the suspects were all well dressed in suits.‎

Items found in their vehicle included Oil, Grinding Stone and Charms. These are items used by the cult members to carry out their attacks. The angry residents of the community delivered jungle justice on them by killing and burning them along with their vehicle. See the graphic photos after the cut...

  5. When govt no won do their job. Nigeria Govt always intervene when the issue is out of hand so until one of their family member is burnt or a lil child is suspected n killed and it receives social out cry, that is when they will act. Stupid pple period

  7. Good morning Nigerians and especially Lagosians particularly the Ikorodu people. It is very disappointing about the way this issue of so called Badoo cult group is being handled or never being handled by the Lagos State government. I know for really as a Yoruba boy that it is impossible for some certain operations of the occultic people to be successfully done in any area over seen by a crown king or even Baale without their knowledge. If at the initial stage it was not known to them and they found out themselves, it will spell doom for the perpetrators of such act.
Now take a good study of the incidences of Badoo groups killings in Ikorodu. You would discovered that what the Yorubas are saying is always right"bi iku ile o ba p'ani tode o le p'ani. It is practically the responsibility of the traditional rulers to consult the oracles on why is such operations going on in their land. Well, I am referring to a chosen king by the oracles and not this politically chosen by the Governor. That is one of the areas we got it all wrong from the start. For a king that knows his worth as a king and wouldn't want his settlements to be scattered, he would have done the needful by now. People are leaving Ikorodu on a daily basis and those planning to develop their lands have stopped. Tell me sincerely how would such town develop.
Having said all that let us look into the possible solution to this menace called Badoo cult group. It is said that it is he who pays the puppet that dictate the tune. Since the Govt are the ones controlling and chosen the traditional rulers therefore Governor should summon them into a meeting, anyway that's for a governor who cares about lives and properties of his citizens, and give them 7 days aultimatum for instance to fish out this so called Badoo boys or risk being suspended. Again, after a month and they are not able to still find them, they will be dethroned outrightly and another one more ready to take up challenges installed.
To make it more yielding result the Nigeria Police Divisional officers in those area should also be ask to go along with them on the same conditions.
With the above mentioned solutions I am very sure everyone's hands will be on deck and result will be achieved.
My own penny if you ask me.

  12. What were dey doing out at that time of the night with those instruments.... If they were not caught, am sure ur headline would have bin "family of 15killed by badoo in ikorodu".in as much as I don't support jungle justice I have families in ikorodu who hardly sleep now adays,Because the government don't care about them.
All dressed in suit, SUV? This is a clear sign that the mighty are the ones killing our people in ikorodu for rituals. The rich and famous,Yahooplus and people in government including those bastards that keeps flaunting money on IG but don't have one traceable source of income.

  19. KILL THEM ALL.

  20. How were they caught if they were in an SUV? When the government don't do the right things, people would take laws into their hands. Ikorodu residents have lost faith in the judicial system. If this was happening in Banana Island, it would have been curbed

  22. Good for them.

What were they doing with oil, grinding stone, and charms (which are generally known trade marks of the dreaded badoo cult group); at such an hour; and in Ikorodu for that matter.

Abeg them be badoo cult group jor, stop pitying them.

  25. I can recall one of there operation when they killed family of 5 and took away 5month pregnant away from that poor woman before they killed the he husband the only survivor lady was raped and her head was stoned the lady was in a a state of coma before she was finally gave up ,I think we should just admit this jungle justice in ikorodu because innocent ppl are dying everyday our husbands are not sleeping because they want to watchover throughout the night these 3guys are comfirm badoo members because those are the things they used for there operation my scare now is that if ikorodu ppl chase them out of the land they will relocate to anoda place but where to?we all need to fight togeda stop pitying them because they don't pity anybody.

  26. I don't ever support jungle justice.. I am seen 2 persons almost burnt to death after they were mistaken to be thieves.. One onlooker who was a resident in my street, jumped in and saved them.. These dudes were not even given the opportunity to explain themselves... I am a strong feeling, innocent people was b mistaken for the group. More so, how are we so sure the sting and all sorts were just used to implicate them..say no to jungle justice!

  29. This is really sad for the people of Ikorodu. as far as I know Ikorodu use to be a very peaceful place to live. The new crown King of Ikorodu has to do something about the issue, or else he will be termed a bad King. He may not really know anything about this but the people doing this want to tarnish the image of his tenure. I guess some people are really behind this.I am personally one of the Nigerians that bear the pain with the people of Ikorodu.

You can not blame the people of Ikorodu if the actually took very hard decision, they were already pushed to the wall. The Kabiyesi of Ikorodu should should please do something before it is too late. For the Nigerian Police just forget about them right now. we all know them that they will do nothing about it.
