Remy Ma dethrones Nicki Minaj to win Best female Hip Hop artist award

The Best Female Hip-Hop Artist award at the 2017 BET Awards was given to rapper, Remy Ma. She beat  Nicki Minaj , Young Ma and Cardi B.When Remy took the stage to accept her award and give a speech, she recited lyrics from "Spaghetti":

"Y'all bitches got fat while we starved
Shots in your ass, pads in your bras
Y'all some liars it ain't no facts in your songs
And yeah that crown is coming back to the Bronx"
She also took to her twitter account to throw more jabs at Nicki. She wrote:

    At least BET has vindicated Remy. This blog's always been thrashing her over Nicki without even making any effort to listen to her bars. It's over for Nicki's tacky, 123, no-grammy-winning bars. Hip-hop is not about who is the wealthiest if not pundits wouldn't be putting Pac, BIG and Nas over Jay Z, Pac even died in debt. Rap is about talent not big yansh. A new queen of rap is in town. Congratz Remy, keep spiting Nicki and her stans.

    Remy has always been a dope rapper... I put her just below Lil Kim and Foxy.. When she started coming up, she had issues and went to prison... she only was released recently that's why most of these small children that only know Nicki think she just started..
    Btw, if you think Nicki can rap, then you don't know a thing about rap.. what you like is pop music.
