Photos: Rotimi Amaechi conspicuously absent at Rivers state 50th year thanksgiving service

Immediate past governor of Rivers state now Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, was conspicuously absent at th state's 50th year thanksgiving service held at the Saint Paul's Anglican Cathedral in Port Harcourt yesterday May 7th.
Rotimi Amaechi who has been having a running battle with his successor, Nyesom Wike, was absent at the thanksgiving service. His wife, Judith, was also not at the church servive.
Former governor of the state, Peter Odili, was among former state functionaries that attended the service.

    the issue is that amaechi is no longer welcome in rivers anymore. since it is a pdp state and they dont like apc.

    Those two are not known to be cordial. The no 1 man, and Mr Ameachi's. Guess it's better this way, before they get into it and ruin everything, on such a memorable day. Won't put it past them. The both hv oversized egos.
