Photos: Former first lady, Patience Jonathan, spotted at an event in Port Harcourt

Former First lady, Patience Jonathan, was the guest of honor at the Women’s Day of the Rivers state Golden Jubilee Celebration in Port Harcourt, the state capital Thursday May 11th. Speaking at the occasion, Mrs Jonathan said women from the state will remain grateful to Governor Wike for giving them political and professional leverage.

She said that the governor’s choice of female deputy governor and the appointment of the first female Chief Judge and President of Customary Court of Appeal ensured that Rivers women took their pride of place in politics.

  5. Mr Governor please try to pay your Rivers State Scholarship Board students. This is more than being wicked that those students can be left in a foreign land without payment for about 3 years now. Tomorrow somebody like this will think he will use thugs and money to get to a higher position. This is wickedness of the highest order. Imagine having your own child there for that long without payment.
