Rachakonda police’s cyber cell from Bengaluru on Monday, March 27, arrested three Nigerian nationals for committing online job fraud and matrimonial scam.
The accused, identified as Emeka Santos, Chika Mitchille and Noah Simisola were also found to be living illegally in India as they had come to the country with a two-month visa in 2011, which was not renewed post its expiry.

"Post-demonetisation, the gang started tricking citizens of other countries online," said Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat at a press conference on Monday.
He added that the trio had tricked a man into believing them that he had been selected for a job in the US and made him deposit money into various bank accounts on the pretext of paying visa charges, processing fee etc.
After the complainant and his wife realised that they were cheated, they lodged a complaint, following which the three accused were arrested.

The Rachakonda police recovered eight laptops, 17 mobile phones, two external hard drives, five data cards and other incriminating materials from their possession.
Mr. Bhagwat said that the accused had cheated people in matrimonial frauds, charity scams and through fake advertisements of e-commerce portals.

Santos, Mitchille and Simisola had also cheated people from Bulgaria, Indonesia, Germany, Brazil, Peru and Morocco.

  14. This is just the reason why i do not deal with the media and its blows because even the media outlet want to blow so badly with their blow blow news. i am an eye witness to this bullshit, those guys where simply in their homes, chika and emeka are my course mates at karnataka college in bangalore, the police raided their home because they where simply black people and emeka has just an iphone without a lapbtop and chika has just a macbook laptop and they are no where close to illegals in bangalore india but its been going on quite sometime now in bangalore where their senior corrupt cops frame african for getting promotions either accusing them with bags of cocain or laptop with cash recovered that can feel the whole delta states without natural resources. All this them linda sef, una wan fat up account with holabalus but funny we nigerians seems not to care with what ever kinda news we read on media blogs like this where the bloggers do no information research and just post it out there, thinking we be mumu we go read am any how and believe am anyhow.

Here is a recent petition by the nigerian community to the police force which was signed by lots of nigerian living here against the police for carry out murderous crimes against our people
