It was hosted by Forbes Africa correspondent, Peace Hyde and the speakers included Tara Fela Durotoye, Foluso Gbadamosi, Kemi Adetiba, Omoni Oboli, Dr Ola Brown, and Dolapo Badmos. The speakers brought the house down I swear, they were incredible and even I learnt alot. Seyi Shay performed while Lolo 1 inspired and cracked jokes. Comedienne Mandy was also there to lighten the mood. All in all, it was a great event. I'll share official photos later but check these ones out for now.

Hello Linda, good job and well done on the success of this conference you just did. Would you mind if I ask you to change the name of this Conference from "SELF MADE WOMAN" to something more convenient. There is no SELF MADE human being anywhere.... No man is sufficient of himself.... Read The Parable of the Rich Fool Luke 12:13–21.
ReplyDeleteKindly think of a better caption or theme for your conference than this "SELF MADE"
Thank you
I expected to see the name you'll suggest.
DeleteMy thought exactly

Linda this stuff u re doing is great bt let's be honest you are making the girls/women think they are now superior over men cos I knw that is all you will say to them dat dey can stand without men ncos dats the mindset that is affecting you not to get marry cos u thinking you don't need a man..... Even God knws dat women need men that why he created a woman out of a man..... show my comment ooo

DeleteYou can't be a woman don't be pissed... you wanna get noticed?..you are. FYI.. we weren't motivated on being a man or not getting married silly! but standing up to break boundaries and taking chances. I see why your female boss makes a fuss of you...talkative.
DeleteNne ina agbali, jisike, mahakwe kwe
ReplyDeleteNice job lib.but hope this is not lesbian recruit. Lesbian alert.
ReplyDeleteThat is what people with epileptic brain always think cos they are scared of empowered women!
DeleteCongrats. .. where or how can one get the full video, did like to inspire self n my lil girls around.
ReplyDeleteU better dont spoil our next generation to start behaving like American women.I live in d U.S and so I know what I mean.Rem it is d kids dat will suffer it.selfmade women are d reason American marriage has d highest rate of ubstoppable divorce. Pls stop changing our little girls mentality.
ReplyDeleteYou are right. She need Trade carefully. Don't turn them to lesbo
DeleteU don't deserve to be in America come back to ur village.u want to be a self made man but u don't want a woman to be self made? Yeye
DeleteVictor Kelvin, read your bible very well...a man needs a helpmate not the other way round ,so Linda is empowering the women.😎😎
ReplyDeleteLove to see the young girls in school uniform. May God continue to bless you Linda and redouble your efforts. These young girls need a positive role model. The scale of prostitution in the youth is alarming. Kudos!
ReplyDeleteBut the pupils are all from elite schools well paid for by their parents and guardians.prostitution arises more from lack than as a hobby .
DeleteWell done mentor, I'm right behind you. Everyday i long to be you and more. I see that smile and I see fulfillment. Your happiness comes when you impact, so do mine. I'll get there too. Besides, am i the only who notice Aunty Linda didn't do center parting her fave hair style...lol...keep it up madam, i wasn't there but the little I watched of Kemi Adetiba on instagram is enough for me to take the next step. I'm not contented with my present state, i am definitely coming in for next year's I'd Rather Be Selfmade. #ProudEntrepreneur #Proud Farmer #ContentDeveloper #IamWatchingYou #IwillGetThereToo

ReplyDeleteYes i was there, amazing amazing, mrs brown was like a booster to me, weldone linda, and for those saying she should have encouraged local schools too, remember the conference was free of charge, so anybody could come. I loved omoni's story as well and the king woman's part about paying your dues, it is a reaffirmation that i am on the right track, i couldnt stay till the end because of hunger, food finished half way so i needed to go home to eat as i am just recovering from a surgery, but in all great conference and thanks for setting the pace for women to follow.
ReplyDeleteNice one
