He was said to be on his way to his elder brother's house in the Gana area of Sapele when he was arrested. He was detained and reportedly beaten up by the police officers in the state.
Yesterday while in detention, he slumped and died. He was rushed to the hospital where doctors certified him dead. His remains has been deposited at the Central Hospital Mortuary in Sapele.
Imagine this! Beating an old man to death. For gun wey the man carry, nor be say he go rob o. He nor kill o. Maybe be he wan go hunt una kill am. Oya make una go bury am. The olopa for North wey say hin go kill 200 innocent pple if hin papa die una nor fit go there go give am the beating of his life. I feel sorry for this country. #Igosoonpackcommot

ReplyDeleteOur Police force are the most stupid force I know of in the whole wide world. Bunch of illiterates with no orientation at all. I am not in support of him carrying fire arms but since he was arrested why beating him up instead of him facing the law as suppose? Thunder fire NPF.
