Ghanaian man arrested for allegedly killing his wife over infidelity (Photo)

Residents of Windy Ridge, a suburb of Takoradi in Ghana woke up on Wednesday to the murder of a 48-year-old woman who was allegedly killed by her husband over infidelity. The suspect, identified as Francis Kwofie, a private security officer who already has been arrested is said to have beaten his wife to death following an accusation of infidelity.
Confirming the incident to Graphic Online, the Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Olivia Adiku, said at about midnight Wednesday, one Fuseina Ali a resident of Windy Ridge reported to the police that her neighbor, Francis Kwofie had attacked and brutally assaulted his wife, Akoley Klotey
She said the police rushed to the scene in an uncompleted building and met the woman, aged about 48 years lying naked and unconscious on the floor.

According to the ASP the deceased was rushed to the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

She said upon inspection of the body, multiple marks of injuries were found on it.

The body has since been deposited at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital Mortuary awaiting autopsy.
