In
a bid to find a lasting solution to the protracted crisis that has
rocked Southern Kaduna communities, Acting President Yemi Osinbajo,
yesterday paid a visit to Kaduna state where he met with communal
leaders and religious leaders in the area. The meeting was held the
state government house.
Speaking at the meeting, Osinbajo expressed
sadness over the loss of lives and properties the crisis has claimed
over time and called on all factions to stop the bloodshed and give
peace a chance. He stated that this is the first in a series of meetings
as he would be coming back to meet with each group separately. See more
photos below...
Wat a great move, buhari just have to lean from u.

ReplyDelete-D great anonymous now as Vivian Reginalds
Please can someone help me understand....
ReplyDeleteI recall that the VP, Osibanjo, claimed a few weeks ago that the reason for the lack of immediate intervention by the Federal Government in the unprovoked murder of over 1,000 innocent Christians (news feeds from multiple sources) in Southern Kaduna was because there was a sitting governor in the state handling the matter. He aledged that the Federal Government shall intervene when the State Government proved incapable of managing the crisis.
Is this visit of the VP an indictment on the State Government of Kaduna, that has OPENLY ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THEY KNOW AND HAVE PAID OFF THE FULANI MURDERERS OF CHRISTIANS IN SOUTHERN KADUNA??? Should a State of Emergency be declared in Kaduna State as the sitting governor has proved incapable and incompetent in managing the crisis?
I would also like to know why the Federal Government of Nigeria would be quick to deploy the FULL MIGHT of the Nigerian Military to stop a simple, peaceful procession of IPOB members on the streets of South-South and South-East Nigeria leading to the unprovoked killings of hundreds by the same military apparatus (news feeds from multiple sources including indictments by Amnesty International) YET will hesitate from timely deploying the same military to STOP the unprovoked killings of innocent Christians in Southern Kaduna?
Please can someone help me with sincere, unbaised, and unhypocritical answers? Thank you!
To anon 12:22, the answer is simple, Buhari. He is the Chief architect of the killings of Innocent Christians, Shia Muslims and other minorities in the country by his Fulani herdsmen terrorists. That is the reason why he finance them as Evidenced by the recent payment to them by his number two goon in office el rufai. Can anyone imagine in a democratic and civilized society to pay a killer to stop killing? The fact is that you are encouraging the killer to continue killing. Like Pastor Chris Okafor preached recently, when a killer kills, what you do is bring the killer to justice, not bribe the killer. Since the Genocide taking place in southern Kaduna, did you see Buhari say anything or visited the area to seek peace, no. Thank God we have Osinbajo who is genuinely looking to tackle all the problems facing the nation. Nigeria is a very simple place to govern if the government just listen to the people. There are ways the government can create millions of local jobs in the country starting by building anew our crumbling infrastructures like cement-tarring all the roads in the country, adding modern railways across the country to bring goods from remote areas to cities with timeless speed and other lofty ideas. If the government can embark on these and others, millions of jobs will be generated and crime will go down drastically. Finally, on the issue of IPOB,the federal government takes them as the number one single threat to their existence since they think if Biafra is actualized, Nigeria will collapse economically. So they dont waste time in clamping down on them when they protest. The federal government is more afraid of Biafra actualization than the Secessionist Boko Haram that want an Islamic Republic in Nigeria.
Deletethe president we know. good start, more grease to your elbow.
ReplyDeleteyour present there is more than any heartfelt consolation to the victims thru media writeup.
this is the one thg PMB will felt so big to do.
wow dis man is working
ReplyDeleteBuhari should have done this since, what stopped him, make he search him conscience.
ReplyDeleteThis is a good move by osibanjo
ReplyDeleteThis is how a president works not the other one that prefers to travel around the world when his house is on fire.since he assumed office as the president he has visited state that Buhari can't visit MA.
ReplyDeleteMr Capable, let the good work continue.
ReplyDeleteMay this visit usher in lasting peace into Southern Kaduna. May God arrest the heart of all killers so they can embrace peace without which there cannot be development
ReplyDelete@ Folorunsho Hunga,Amen to that!
DeleteYes, my President!!! You go Sir. You go!!
ReplyDeleteThis here, is how a sitting President responds to crises in his backyard: timely, compassionately, equitably and openly. Nothing beats an educated mind with depth and wisdom. Kudos, to Osinbajo for showing up and speaking truth to power with regards to the Southern Kaduna mayhem. Hopefully, with time the wounds, anger and distrust will "heal". By the way, why did PMB not ever show face/or speak decisively on this open sore before now? Nah question-o QED@atm
