Photos/Videos: South Africans attack businesses owned by Nigerians in Pretoria

In another act of Xenophobia, some South Africans Saturday attacked and looted some Nigerian-owned businesses in Pretoria West. According to the President of the Nigeria Union in South African, Ikechukwu Anyene, the attacks started at about 4am Saturday morning. Five buildings that housed some Nigerian businesses were razed. He added that one of the buildings was a mechanic garage with 28 cars and many vital documents.

Also a Nigerian clergy man identified as Prophet Sangojimni was physically assaulted. One Nigerian man said his house was razed and he lost all his properties including his passport, that of his wife and son.
According to reports, the South Africans say they are angry with Nigerians for engaging in drug pushing and prostitution. See some of the videos below:

    1. Very silly talk! Have you ever set eyes on a south African citizen here? They find their country! At most, you would only see diplomats. You can't even go near those ones.Nigerians in south Africa are 40% drug pushers,30% are into crime & other vices.Imagine if all the area boys in Lagos were Ghanaians? Won't Nigerians give them hell. They welcomed our citizens into their country, they have turned out to be a problem, an uncontrolled crowd.

There are South Africans in Nigeria, ordinary people even prostituting. There people here of different nationality selling drugs. Statistics shows that Nigerians in South Africa are not even up to 25 000. South Africa has a population over 60 million.
96% of sex houses are owned by whites and Indians (South Africans) and 4% other foreign nationals. Who are demanding for drugs? Whites! No demand no supply. See ehnn, if I hear? You just go on the internet and type nonesense, without facts... idiot!

  2. this black south africans are idiots and very lazy bunch of fools that always look for someone to blame for there woes. If its not whites then its Nigerians and other foreigners because they know they can't touch any white south african. I have been to that country atleast 5 times. There men don't work and so lazy. I had a south African girlfriend who is a strong Nigerian critic and trust me i will defend Nigeria anywhere, anytime. She says we do nothing but drugs and scam and am the only legit one she ever met. I was quick to shut her mouth up and took her to my cousins house in SA who is a doctor and husband a doctor all living and working in south africa saving this idiots lives. This same clown of an ex i learnt owned a Ponzi and we broke up when she started a new one.I can't be with a an ignorant hypocrite.

  4. Please how many south African lives in Nigeria? South African people are lazy set of human being so they don't step out of there comfort zone and there major problem is that they envy Nigeria a lot and it's nothing but there lazy mind set, they believe Nigerians take there wife's and Zimbabwe take there job when you don't know how to take care of your woman? When you're lazy to work why won't Zimb take there job? An average south African house wife with just told her you're Nigerian she's going to be begging you to have sex with her because there men are not good in bed. Fucking lazy set of people.

  8. This is stupidity, then south Africa should stop giving Nigerians visa anymore if they are no longer fine with Nigerians. Brothers and sisters, come home and invest in your country, please biko.

  9. Poverty is their problem. The whites have everything in that country while the blacks are illiterates, jobless, thieves, and lazy, their women involve in prostitution and drugs. So what the jobless blacks do is to attack their fellow African brothers and loot them. But the whites that are oppressing them, they can't say a word to them. These people that they're destroying their businesses, are they drug dealers? That's why they will continue to be slaves to the immigrant whites in their own country. They forgot that the whole of Africa helped them to fight apperthied, especially Nigeria. SLAVE MENTALITY is a disease.

  15. "Why don't you own a salon in your country" for real? This video saddens me. When we humans ever come to accept each other as one and stop categorizing people from where they come from, the color on their skin and the money they have . Everyday we go to church but we miss the simple message it teaches us (love) . Now I know why God's greatest commandment is love. So a brother from another country is in your country trying to make a living and he was vandalized, even brutalized and his properties destroyed and all you have to say is "why can't you have a salon in your country". Well let me answer that question 1) brother is in search for greener pasture. He probably makes more money in S.A than in does in Nigeria. So why can't you let him live in peace? . Jealousy and hate drives us so crazy that we overlook the fact that we at the giving end are more bettter than those at the receiving end . Lord help us

  20. It is a shame that all this block headed South Africans can't labour to earn a living instead they arrange and loot the shops of Nigerians going about their lawful businesses. All they do is take drugs and have sex around leading to explosion of HIV in South Africa.

  21. In as much as we condem this barbaric act, we should talk to our brothers and sisters living abroad. Many Nigerians cut corners to succeed in life and its sometimes bad. Its not a secret that many Nigerian are involved in hard drugs, prostitution and other illegal things. We need to change to redeem our image.

  30. Am glad we are seeing the negative effect our drug trafficking is causing. It has really given us a terrible image. This is just the beginning, other countrys will start doing what SA is doing to us. Lets face fact, its not fair we go to other countries and destroy the place with drugs. We cant go about destroying shoprite and mtn becos southafricans have behaved decently in our country. We have all benefited from shoprite, MTN Mutichoice etc. They have been good here, we have been bad to them. Our igbo brothers should learn from this. Its the innocent Nigerians abroad that mostly suffer from this terrible image.its quite unfortunate

  33. Because you helped them to fight for their freedom, that is why Nigerians should now engage in drugs, robbery and other crimes in South Africa? Will they allow you to spoil their own country as you have done to your own? They should drive all Nigerians away from their country back to Enjoy and Lagos. Nonsense.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Drive all of them back to Enugu and Lagos. Drug Pushers and armed robbers. Ewu Nigerians!

  38. Shame, shame, shame. Why is it Africans are their own worst enemies? With open arms they welcome others: blue, red and pockodot who hold thriving businesses for generations and lord it over them without so much as a whimper not to mention these types of mayhem. Yet, fellow Africans go in search of same greener pastures, much like the blue, red and pockodots, now its a different ball game. What is the Nigerian Ambassador to S. Africa doing to stop the further loss of lives and properties? Abi, Naija nah giant of Africa only 4 mouth? NMTA

  40. I've been to SA twice during my vacation in school and what I have observed is that... 1. South African men are lazy and born alcoholics, They drink at every given opportunity,
    2. They are lazy in bed hence they cant satisfy their girls, that's is why the average South African girl or woman loves a Nigerian man......
    3. They always wish they have or can accomplish what Nigerians are accomplishing in their country, but they cant work, they don't even like to study the ratio of South Africans and foreigners in their university is like 40-60% they hate school...... all they want is to party fuck and eat but they cant work.....bunch of idiots

  41. Eish some people are saying good thing but some are just Nigerian that are not patriotic, imagine you travel to a country and you are being discriminated on, right now I am ln South Africa very close to where this incident happen in Pretoria west.... can you imagine how afraid I was and not only me thousands of Nigerian and other foreigners, we all afraid of our life, I have a daughter in nigeria... i brought her here last year but now am afraid to endanger her life bcos this place is not save , even on a normal day, the black South African say shit to you bcos you are a foreigner, they don't respect us at all.... they take advantage of us on daily base.... before this fight .... I was shopping and I come across a Nigerian who was having an issue with some South Africans , they Nigerian was trying to take money from ATM and some South Africans was trying to steal his money thru ATM fraud, he was the victim but can you believe they turn it again him just bcos he is a foreigner, the Nigerian guy slept cell for 2 days bcos they accuse him of assault and the police supported his South African brother.... it's bad ..... racism is alive here , black to black racism
