Confirming the dismissals to newsmen, the general manager of NCAA, Sam Adurugboye, said the reason for the sack was however not stated in the letter.
“It is true that the directors have been disengaged but I don’t have details of the reasons given for the action by the ministry,” he said.
Those affected include Alhaji Salawu Ozigi (Director of Finance and Accounts), Dr Joyce Nkemakolam (Director of Aerodrome and Airspace Standards), Mr Aba Ejembi (Director of Administration) and Mr Emmanuel Ogunbami (Director of Licensing), Mr Benedict Adeyileka (Director of Airworthiness), Mr Justus Wariya (Director of Air Transport Regulation), Alhaji Adamu Abdullahi (Director of Consumer Protection), Capt. Ayodele Sasegbon (Director of General Aviation), and Mr Austin-Amadi Ifeanyi (Director of Human Resources).
Recall that Acting President Yemi Osinbajo paid an unscheduled visit to the Murtala Mohammed International Airport yesterday where he inspected facilities at the airport.
Good for them.
ReplyDeleteThose sacked were already over fed. They dont need any job anywhere again. What they have stolen is enough to feed them till death comes their ways. They should leave and let other people rise.

ReplyDeleteGod bless our Acting President. Enough of mediocrity in government.

Who in the Federal Government ordered the mass sacking? Acting president vice president fake pastor Yemi Osinbajo visited Murtala Mohammed Airport, the Witch cried and the babies died. Sacked all directors? Fine and well, does Nigeria have industrial tribunals? Beyond the mass sacking, no immediate replacements? Nothing new, Nigeria has a fake pastor acting president vice president, acting ambassadors in all countries, an acting chief judge, an acting efcc chairman, Nigerians may as well anticipate a new bunch of acting ncaa directors, acting government. Change.
ReplyDeleteWho is advising the acting president? A cardinal protocol of acting responsibility through delegated authority is not to make any irreversible changes. What next? Is acting president going to divorce Aisha from Buhari before Buhari returns?
ReplyDeleteWhen Buhari comes back he wl replace them with old Hausa men who can't take good decisions.
ReplyDeleteSack ko.....For this recession......hian
ReplyDeleteafter prof osinbanjo visit, he saw that the airport was in total mess, then he sacked them, did anybody notice that the dollar rate is reducing.. osinbanjo is working
ReplyDeleteDoes it mean that Capt. Sidi, the Director of Operations and Training(DOT) was not affected? I did not see his name on the list.
ReplyDeleteBetter and I hope he'll do same with FAAN and NAMA so we can have sanity in the aviation industry... dee

Is just a way of replacing d directors wt hausa's. We shall see
ReplyDeleteWell Done. Most of the Directors in the Federal govt Parastatals must be sacked and replaced with non civil servants for this country to move on. The only business they do is stealing, distributing AID/ HIV and if any politician come against them they blackmail him.
