Ekiti state gov, Ayo Fayose, calls on Nigerians to pray for President Buhari

Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, has enjoined all Nigerians to pray for President Buhari who is in the UK for medical checkup. Fayose who made the call while speaking to newsmen at the state government house in Ado-Ekiti yesterday, prayed that President Buhari remains in good health.
He called on the presidency to give Nigerians accurate information on the health status of President Buhari.

"I want to equally enjoin all Nigerians to pray for the president and ask God to give him good health. The presidency owes all Nigerians accurate information about the situation of things otherwise people would continue to spread one rumor or the other. Nigerians demanding for truthful and accurate information about the President's health from the presidency are right because the moment you assume such a position, your life becomes public"he said

  18. Nigerians are interesting people. Why? There is always drama. Imagine! With all the problems facing us the Nigerian government cannot do the needful and have the democratically elected president speak to his people 'live' by radio, tv, skype, youtube, facebook, twitter, instagram, whatsapp or any of the numerous means readily available for him to do so. Instead they are telling us to pray. And people are even debating whether to pray or not. What exactly are we to pray about? Is he in a coma? Is he unable to speak? Is he paralysed? What sickness are we praying against? Na wa for this country.
Since independence we have recorded the deaths in power of Balewa, Ironsi, Murtala, Abacha and Yar'adua. Most of these are from the Hausa-Fulani north. Yet they insist they have a God-given right to rule. Today they want us to pray for another of their non-performing brothers who (God forbid!) may be about to join them (if he has not done so already). This government seems to always be coming or going from one tragedy or another. Which kind bad luck government be this?
Leadership of Nigeria is in the hands of God. I think it is time for them to understand what God is trying to say i.e. He doesn't seem to want them there for too long because they always find a way of making a messy situation even worse. God help us.
