  1. So Africans are monolith eh??? Africa is the most genetically diverse continent there is. The problem is we don't celebrate and showcase our diversity due to people having eurocentric definitions on what beauty is. I know many girls with natural red or amber colored hair but they hide it in a weave because they feel it looks ugly. I know a kid in my neighborhood with grey eyes, so yes blue eyes is possible. One of my coursemates has amber colored eyes.

We all have blue eyes, the iris is naturally blue, the difference is the amount of melanin in it. Black people have more melanin in their eyes hence the brown/ dark brown colour (melanin is the brown to black pigment that darkens the skin, but is also present in our eyes and hair though not on our palms). White people have less melanin (varies) hence they have eye colors from brown to blue. Albinos don't have melanin in their eyes so the iris is blue but very light that the retina is reflected (the retina is reddish) hence their eyes appear red especially in photographs.
