Rivers state Gov, Nyesom Wike, sacks one of his aides

 Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has sacked his Senior Special Assistant on Protocol, Joe Akpa.

According to a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, Wike wished Akpa well in his future endeavors. No reason was given for the termination of appointment.

  8. Mr Governor, please give us the biggest christmas gift by paying us our scholarship money. Dear Daddy, please I'm a PhD student from RSSB in the UK. We are only about four here but we haven't been paid for close to 3years now.
