Quilox fight: Singer Oritsefemi's management releases statement

On Friday, singer Oritsefemi had a brawl with some of the bouncers at Quilox Night club in Lagos. His management has released a statement stating his own side of the story. Read below...
On Friday 11th 2016, at exactly 2am at Quilox Night Club. Oriste Femi was attacked by a bouncer just because he was trying to stand for an older Colleague and a friend According to His Management MSN GANG the Double wahala & Ongba Larami singer was at Quilox on Friday trying to ease off stress with his friends at the VIP corner of the said club when he noticed a senior colleague and a brother Sound sultan and Rock Steady were been bounced from entering the VIP section of the club.
Oriste Femi who was not happy with the bouncers behavior stood up to ask the bouncer why he was putting up such attitude to An A list Artiste and a brother, the bouncer replied that an order was placed Down by Shina Peller the CEO of the club that no A list Artist should be allowed into the VIP section, claiming the A list Artiste were not his costumers and they have no value at his Club Just because of his rift with Davido [Does that make any sense at all].
After which, The bouncer told him to keep to his section or go join his colleague at the regular section. Femi who we all know to be a very humble and calm person accept the offer to join his colleague at the regular section but was pushed back by the bouncer, Before he could say Jack the other Bouncer was already rough Handling him. Oriste Femi who was holding a cup of wine had to defend himself by slapping the bouncer with the wine cup which gave the bouncer a scar on the face.
Without waiting for Explanation the other Bouncers in the club came in and attack Oriste Femi and in d process of the attack Oriste femi’s 8.5million Naira worth of jewelry was stolen by the club bouncers, before the crowd will stand up to protest against the club bouncers attitude, Oriste femi was already injured. Even with the injury he was held down by the bouncer s and the management of the club claiming they were waiting for the arrival of Police.
On the Arrival of police oriste femi and the bouncer were arrested and taken to the police station were the ipo in charge of the case ordered Oriste femi to Treat the injured bouncer which he did and even Gave the bouncer extra cash for self-medication.
The IPO also ordered the Bouncer and the Club Management to Provide Oriste femi’s 8.5million Naira worth of jewelry which he Hasn’t received till now. If we all will recur these Same Quilox was the same place Dammy Krane got messed up by Bouncers, these same club was the same club Davido got Confronted by this same Bouncers What Kind of Club is THIS? Is that how our beloved Country Ambassadors should be treated? We should learn how to respect and support ourselves God bless you.

  4. Not a good one,why always Quilox.
They should get their bouncers to behave, they are meant to protect and not attack people. Although I still don't believe Oritsefemi's story.

  5. When I read stories like this I feel like going back to study law. Too many inconsistencies that the management are stupid enough not to see the bull in their story. 1: Bouncers can never force you to stay in VIP. 2: You cant slap someone with a glass but stab rather. Infact, make I sip my Jack Daniels slowly dey read news...

  8. My gosh! Na press release be dis? Absolutely bad document coming from a management team. This one is story and really a disservice to representation.

Wizkid's management don't do any better too if I recall well. What's happening guys? Are there no real PR managers out there?

  9. Whatever Gang you call yourselves, first of all, get a good PR Agent to release good statements for you. Secondly, how difficult is it for you celebrities to obey simple rules and regulations? You move around feeling you are on top of the world and above regulations. If the club owner doesnt want A-list Artists, he owes none of you any explanations. Meanwhile una never talk wetin una dey find dere too

  10. Firstly! Oriste Femi is big boy he needs to go around with bodyguards. Secondly! Has a role model he doesn't need to be offensive. He should not have mind the bouncer even if the bouncer prevented or attacked him. Now Sound Sultan that he was trying to support didn't feel or get shit. So my advice Mr Femi next time is that you just ignore the bouncer nd continue ur flenjor.

  27. Well first off, your publicist needs some serious and urgent grammar lessons. Secondly, your side of the story frankly sounds way too made up and untrue. Anyways I agree the bouncers could have been less aggressive in dealing with the situation and hopefully nobody sustained any horrible injury...#udo

Violence should be a last resort for bouncers considering their run ins with celebs in the last few years. Anyway wetin consign me, I no dey club-Newyorker

  45. If this bad and terrible statement was written by Oritsefemi's management team, then he deserved the beating he got from the bouncers!!!
Chai, whoever wrote this trash need to go back school ASAP!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. First, the writer of this statement needs be forced to school...I would unhesitatingly sack him for this poorly constructed piece if I were the CEO.
Second, the allegations are so daft and baseless that they should deserve any meaningful attention. Pls, Linda when next u post this Vague tantrum, better keep a warning notice so we spend our precious time on better meaningful headlines.

  47. It's all lies. First it's a champagne bottle...not wine glass.
2ndly he removed a barrier to the VIP section reserved by the management. He knows the said bouncer as he has been guarded by him before. He was asked to leave politely but refused n told his 3 thugs to hold the bouncer while he smashed a champagne bottle on the guy's head n stabbed his face with the broken bottle. Other A-list artists were downstairs. This so called management statement is all LIES.

  64. WHO wrote this headache-inducing 'statement'?! Errors everywhere! It's not about sounding all-knowing, but this is supposed to be representing a brand. How are we even supposed to take this statement serious, not to mention credible?

    ReplyDelete
  65. Good English or no good English.at list them explained themselves watin happened.all of you looking at people grammar I sorry for who nah.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Well, i was actually there when it all happened, Femi reacted out of anger but the so called bouncer was very rude to him, i dont know if oritsefemi was talking on behalf of anyone but i heard when the bouncer scream at him, " Se na because i allow you enter, you better go sitdown or i throw you outside " which i found very rude, and not a sentence to use on customers most especially to an artist either a Z class or A Class, Femi tried to come out from the so called VIP while the bouncer maybe wanted to apologize, before he hit the glass on the bouncers face and wanted to fight, thou they never touched him.
Talking about the 8.5m chain hehehe, i swear down, Femi pulled out that chain himself and gave it so one guy behind him, maybe he was drunk and couldn't recollect who he gave the chain.

but most bouncers at Quilox are very rude, maybe because the management gave them too much power, the CEO or manager need to caution them. i use to hear that " Customers are always right "
