Photos from Magic Lens Africa Film Academy Awards in Abuja

After a lot of high powered planning and media activities by Nollywood actor, Charles Awurum and his Magic Lens film crew, the MAFAA awards successfully took place at the NAF Conference centre Abuja last weekend.

The award brought recognition to individuals and organisations who have invested in filmmaking over the years. The event also served as a night of premiere for the language movie "Mgbechi Onu Ugba", an Igbo comic feature film produced by Magic Lens Pictures.

It was heartwarming seeing actors and actresses from the make-believe industry grace the occasion, especially when they stormed the red carpet with their colourful wears and style.
