A statement released by Muhammad Musa, the Chairman of the state Tender Board Committee for the project yesterday, states that no fewer than 78 construction companies have signified interest for the award of the contracts for construction of the mosques. The government plans to build three mosques in each of the 30 constituencies of the state.
And that's the best he can come up with? Invest in education man,let their eyes be open to the truth and their horizon broaden!!!! #Sic

ReplyDeleteGood thing to build Mosques but also encourage industrialization and provide free or/and affordable education opportunities for the youths. The former is one of the catalyst toward the present backwardness and insurgencies such as boko haram in the northern part of Nigeria today. If your don't know what to do with the State fund at your disposal please consult experts.

ReplyDeleteI don't get it, why is the state building mosques, isn't it suppose to be build by the religious leaders and followers. We are not in theocracy, government shouldn't be building the place of worship. I think EFCC should look into things like this. Social issues like schools, and hospitals should be of important or if they have enough of schools and hospitals, government should give out scholarships invest in people, assist business to expand, give out loans, or subsidize farmers. I don't know if they have Christian in that state bcos if they do, Christian should also demand churches be build.
