FG employs 200,000 graduates, place them on N30k monthly salary

The Federal government has employed 200,000 graduates into the civil service. Special Assistant to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on media and publicity, Laolu Akande, disclosed this today while speaking at the second presidential economic communication workshop in Abuja.
“We have selected 200,000 graduates out of 500,000. This is the first batch. One hundred and fifty thousand will work as teachers while 50, 000 will work as extension workers. Their pay which is 30, 000 per month, will go directly into their account"he said
He added that the graduates would work for just two years in the civil service.

  24. I weep for my country! How can you pay a graduate 30k/per month? Yet you pay those evil, wicked senators huge sum of money for just sitting in the national assembly?

  27. When they didn't start this programme, some of you screamed fraud, now they have started the programme, you are saying shit. The uninformed amongst you would do well to find out how much a graduate earns at the state government level. When you learn that, then you would learn to appreciate a government that is giving jobs in a recession.Any kind of job for that matter. Imagine if this government sold crude at 140 dollars per barrel like "hero" did?

  47. God has given us the power to create wealth. If this is true, then I'm so happy about it. It's easy. Get the job, work for 6 months-1 year, then resign. While working, save as much money as you can. Don't buy food outside during lunch time. Cook and take along to work. When you have saved enough money, quit if you don't want it anymore. Set up a business. It doesn't matter how small it is. Grow from there, and employ people. During my youth service, I saved both my allowance and salary( less than 50k). I only took 100 to work daily. I had plans of schooling abroad even though I didn't have the resources. In the end, I was able to achieve my goal.
