‘What I am after in particular is the success of my husband's administration.’ – Aisha Buhari

Weeks after her controversial interview with BBC, where she criticized her husband’s administration, Aisha Buhari has come out to affirm her support for the President. While giving her speech at Benisheirk, Kaga Local Government of Borno state, where she went to flag-off the distribution of food and other nutrients to returning IDPs, she said she is after the success of her husband fulfilling campaign promises to Nigerians, which has already started.

‘On our campaign promises to Nigerians, especially to the people of Borno State, we thank Almighty Allah for giving us the opportunity of beginning to fulfill these promises. That is the essence of being a good leader; when you promise, you try to fulfill your promises. That is what we are all after. And what I am after in particular is the success of my husband's administration. And we can’t do it alone, except with the help of the governors, their wives and members of our progressive party and all Nigerians.’

  2. And what I am after in particular is the success of my husband's administration"

You are a good first lady, a huge departure from the one that was busy stealing our national treasury, fighting with Yaradua's widow over land and disgracing herself everyday on television.
God will help your husband succeed.

  12. You have my support but Aisha pls be brave enough to ask your husband and his cabals what did the people of south east did to him that he cannot forgive and place some projects for them even to the extent of excluding them from the proposed incoming borrowed fund. God Almighty is watching and have greatest powers than Pmb.

    1. Did you vote for him? It is your south east people that started the hatred. Not one Igbo state voted for him. You showed your hatred by the way you voted. Now you want him to favour you after showing him hatred and insulting him on social media all the time. Abegi

  15. As far as your "horseband" has sideline the south east, he will "kwantinu" to be confused. He has already placed you in the "oza" room. Tell him to do the right thing and it shall be well with him, if not,his divisive government will "kwantinu" to fail and Sink further and further until he'll be forced to resign, mark my words. God hates discrimination and segregation, that's why Donald Trump is failing shamefully when he has the chance to win Hillary hands down because, it's always their tradition to rotate presidency from one part to the other after 8 yrs, but he finished himself with his divisiveness and discrimination.

    1. South east also sidelined him in the way they voted. You cannot sow hatred and expect to reap love. You started the hate

    2. Oh so Igbos did not discriminate by the way they voted? Not one state in the South East voted for Buhari. Hear this idiot talking about discrimination. Who started it??
