Photos: Protest in Akure as INEC recognizes Jimoh Ibrahim as Ondo state PDP governorship candidate

Aggrieved members of PDP in Ondo state are currently staging a protest in the state capital, Akure, following INEC's decision to recognize billionaire businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim, as the PDP candidate in the November 26th governorship election in the state.

Jimoh Ibrahim who belongs to the camp of the Factional PDP leader, Ali Modu Sheriff, was yesterday recognized by the electoral body over Ahmed Makarfi-faction's candidate, Eyitayo Jegede.

INEC is yet to give reasons for choosing Jimoh over Jegede who until yesterday, was displayed on PDP's official website as the party's governorship candidate.

    If EFCC is serious they ought to have arrested this evil Justice Okon Abang, while is it that he's always the one giving controversial judgement every time. Until Okon Abang is arrested the judiciary can't be corruption free. Okon Abang you and your generations will not know peace for wanting to toil with the peace in Ondo state.     How can Justice Okon Abang say INEC should recognised Jimoh Ibrahim as the Governorship candidate. Jimoh Ibrahim that has run down all the businesses he lay his evil hand on. Ondo PDP should fighting this injustice done to the party and Eyitayo Jegede.This evil incompetent Justice Okon Abang should be reported to the NJC.This is the type of judge that DSS should pay a visit to...He is a rogue judge
