Photos: One dies as Range Rover rams into a parked trailer along Lagos-Ibadan expressway
The Range Rover SUV rammed into the parked trailer at 1am along Lagos/Ibadan express way. The driver who was the only one in the car died instantly. More photos after the cut.
Be careful about buying Tokunboh cars in Nigeria. I can tell just by looking at the roof of that rover that it had previously experienced major structural failure which in the US would make it condemned. The engine should have dropped out of the chassis and the energy of the collision should have transferred right around vehicle. The separation of that roof in the front is very suspicious...
Baba he was probably sleeping.... And looking at the pics clearly the whole front side where the engine seats is under the trailer... Which means the taller was very high, only the bonnet got scrapped backwards and so it was the two pillars of the windscreen dat received the impact and could not be absorbed by the fore front of the bonnet and looking at it...the death was definitely instant.... Rip
Nigeria must pass a very stern Law against lorrys without Light at the back most of Nigeria lorries and trailers don't have Break Light pls enough of this unnecessary death
Jeyibo Christopher who are you handing Koga Entertainment to? What will your staffs say? Who will your children run to? Your office to your house was just 5mins away yet you didn't get home. You will forever be in our minds. We will miss you boss
What is he running from or running after that he just couldn't wait till daylight? Our highways are death traps in the day time let alone at night. May His soul rest in peace.
The owner/company of the trailer should be found and charged for murder! Many Tcahe family must sue the company AND NIGERIA!! The poor driver ought not to be dead. Vehicles are supposed to have some form of illumination attached as a safety measure. One can see the parked vehicles from great distances.
All his plans for the rest of the year and the rest of his life has been wrapped up. Oh death, how wicked you are. Rest on Chris, you came and made a mark.... May God have mercy on your soul. Amen.
So so sad!! 1 or 2k worth of reflectors at the rear of this truck would have saved his life. That vehicle has xenon lights that would have picked the truck from a good distance reflectors were in place.
Where are our road safety/worthiness enforcement agencies. So so sad!!!
Omg...RIP dear one. #Sad
