DP governorship candidate in the just concluded Edo state governorship election, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, this morning led some members of his party in a protest over the results from the Sept. 28th governorship election as announced by INEC. Addressing the crowd, Ize-Iyamu said
"I thank you all for going about this protest peacefully. You have come out in this large number to register your displeasure about the last election and the stolen mandate, while those who said they won the election cannot come out to celebrate.
I have asked God whether to forget about it all, but I heard Him clearly asking me to pursue and recover all without fail. we will not allow them to go away with our stolen mandate. We will take it back by the Grace of God Almighty".

DeleteIze Iyamu doesnt know that his problem is not Oshiomole or INEC or rigging. His biggest problem is his sponsor which is the Igbibedions. Most of the people of Edo State hate the Igbinedions because they did nothing for Edo State while in power. The were very self-centred and selfish. They didnt care about the wellbeing of Edo people. So even if another election is conducted, Obaseki will still win because Edo people donnot want the Igbinedions to use him as a front to control Edo State. They dont want history to repeat itself. Edo people are now wiser and they voted wisely

I dont understand this Pastor Ize Iyamu. You and the vice president, Osinbajo are both pastors of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. How come both of you are in two different parties. One is in APC and the other is in PDP. Abi is your church a confused church? I think as a church, you guys should be speaking with one voice. Just saying...

ReplyDeleteI disagree with the Pastor.If he is a True/Good servant of Jesus Christ he will not part-take in any election. My God, Jesus Christ did not tell him anything. Election involves lies, deceit, killing & destructive acts. He can't deny any of such acts by him or his party members.

I am very surprised when someone is putting God Almighty into dirty politics that has nothing to do with. You said God told you loud and clear to protest for an election result. So sorry because the God I serve does not said it to you check the kind of God you serve. What did God told you before the result was announced or what did God told you before you buy the ticket. Casting lot in the Bible what does it signify? Go and read your Bible very well and gain knowledge because the lack of this make God people to perish. Ize Iyamu is on the right track to contest for election. God servant are the one to lead not to follow others that is why we are the head so that things will go right. If God servant can`t contest election is the devil that will do that and rule God people.
