Polished Kids and Rubbished Kids- Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri took to his Facebook page to talk about the difference between Polished kids and rubbished kids...

My kids are born and bred in California and they each bear Itsekiri names. They know my language and they know their native dress. Your kids aren't 'POLISHED' because they can't speak your native tongue. No. In fact that are 'RUBISHED' if all they know is English. I remember once somebody asked me why my kids don't have English names. I told him as I am telling you, that when the English start giving their kids Itsekiri names, then I will start giving my kids English names. Africans, emancipate yourselves from mental slavery. A Christian can still be a Christian with an African name. It is the faith that matters not the name!

  4. Reno! Your opinions will always stink, no matter how objective or abstract they come. And just like your name OMOKRI translated... A dwarfed urine smelling HE GOAT! And you're living out your name. Be careful with the Itsekiri names you give your Innocent kids! I'm not surprised that even with a veiled and deluded pastoral gait you flaunt ... you haven't seen the need to do spiritual cancellation of the true meaning of your name and how it affects you. And here you are quoting lines from Bob Marleys epic.." emancipate yourselves from mental slavery" when in reality you should be the one who needs emancipation from Ancestral slavery! Reno OMOKRI you may not know this.. but to the discerning publics.. you stink and badly too, just like your name translated. You're nothing but a desperate political jobber using cheap platforms as LIB for unconventional political job application. Sorry sorry ooo! Not this time bro! Yet another Bob Marleys line.." you can fool some people sometimes.. but you can't all the people all the time. Spook! Better Stop existing and start living, else your Innocent pretty kids may soon be starving! Reno get the real life if not... Hells VIP lounge awaits you. EoD.

    2. @EOD, what re you blabbing about? Your write up is pointless and it tells a lot about who you truly re, a bitter human being. Pls get your life together before saying rubbish about other people. Your entire family won't in their life time achieve half of what Reno achieved already.

  6. i love his piece of sermon, but somehow i have an objection to this "it is the faith that matters not the name". my take is You can not give your child a wayward name and expect something better out from him or her. Good name is better than gold and silver, not really english or whichever name.

  8. I'm not the type who comment on social media but I'm obliged to do so because of the very foolish and ignorant post by Mr Omokri aka "Sabinus", you claim English names when given to children means they are enslaved, and until the English begin to give their kids Itsekiri names, you will not give your kids English names, bla bla bla bla. Well, if you know this much and claim to be so cultured, why are you in a foreign land in the first place? Why do you write in English language? Perhaps I'd be writing this comment in your favor if you did write your nasty remark in Itsekiri language since English is not your language but a language of the slave masters and if you live in your own country with your so-called "Polished" children. Until you do these things, you should be the very one who should emancipate your self from mental slavery.

  9. This man always want to deviate from the real issues;how does this bring back the money you and your people stole to maintain a family in California USA,while ordinary Nigerians suffer for all your ill advised policies.
Defender of African values indeed!!!Then why didn't you write the post in Itsekiri language, thief!!!! .

  13. I would have believed all you said if this piece was written in your dialect. Is there anything wrong in giving your kids English names? We don't have to follow suit.

  14. It's just an illustration, it's technical! Smart people would know how to handle this.

  16. Hell no Reno. I am your Fan, but this time, I think you got it wrong. What is in a Name?????
For me I believe “christening or giving” names are a rare creative and inspirational free loving and adventurous thought of man that should outlive both History and Posterity. The Parents of the Man called “Drink Water” may have drawn inspiration from a situation, circumstances, state of affairs as at that time or hope for the Future. I believe names can be anything provided it can endure or get you reminded of something.

  17. Well, there's point in your opinion. But the question I want to ask is this, why were the kids "born and bred in california"instead of your Itshekiri hometown? I think it would have been more African to have them born here.

  18. You hypocritical bitch ass nigga. If you're such a patriot, why are you not in Nigeria shaping the future for us who are not "enlightened" like you? Iya Ati baba e!!!

    1. @Karlson, thanks for predicting my mood. BITTER. Who wouldn't? I see you're a patriot, happy at the state of your beloved country, but you see no point when we vent on some of the people that got us where we are at today. Why would you? Tell us what we don't know about OMOKRI'S achievements? That he got a political appointment at Aso Rock and facilitated sundry renovation contracts to some low end fellows and associates ? Or his inability to flush out from his brain the euphoria of being an S.A at the presidency after almost 2 years? Please see his fb profile picture and see how much help he needs to get off GEJ's shadow. Reuben Abati also served in GEJ's government but still seen as a core image management professional even after the Aso Rock years. GEJ too has been able to manage his utterances reasonably well after he'd moved out of the villa. So why would a Reno who may not even win a local government chairmanship primaries in Warri South continually insult the sensibilities of of most Nigerians with his opinions on a free to Air platform? I need you to know that there are better qualified Nigerians with higher degrees in propaganda and misinformation who would have done a better job than OMOKRI. I will stop joining issues with him the moment he drops the pastoral garb, Dear Karlson, for now Omokri stinks, and hurts deeply the sensibilities of most Nigerians. How sad.

You are also not empower to JUDGE anyone ,Anything that has life and breathing ,thou shall not call un-clean ,because thou has no power to make one.So tell Reno, you cannot be a good christian and be judgmental ,you cannot have it both ways Father-Teressa .Trying to be a MORAL-POLICE is the same thing as pointing out every-ones FAULT to justify your SAINT-SHIP. And living in California, Reno should know better ,1st Amendment guarantee FREEDOM TO LIVE THE WAY YOU CHOOSE ,including raising your children the way you feel. That's why we choose to come to the FREE-WORLD in the 1st place. You wanna be moral-police kindly move back to UMAHIA.
