Nigeria’s economic recession may last another 20 years – Jimoh Ibrahim

Ondo state governorship aspirant and embattled businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim, says the economic recession being experienced in Nigeria may linger on for another 20 years. Jimoh said this while delivering a speech at a book launch at the Obafemi Awolowo University recently.
“With the current crude oil prices and current situation of the country, except there is a miracle that will chance the situation, we may be experiencing this recession for 20 years. Our Naira has lost its value and this is the worst recession I have seen in many years and nothing seems to be happening”he said

  14. But Mr Ibrahim, you are also part of our economic problems. Remember NICON Insurance? That company went to ground and you refused to pay compensation to the family of a Sudanese resistance leader after his death. Staff deserted your company in droves. What about that international airline you ran? There were even rumors that your airline compromised on safety standards.

Many of you don't know the mess this country has been swimming in for decades.Oil money was covering our arses. Our economy was like a business surviving on one brand while entire company was being run down.Broken down machines, broken down production lines.Half of the employees laid off.we were f*cked from 1981
