Erosion collapses Cameroon highway into two, leaves travelers stranded (Photos)

Many travelers were seen stranded after heavy downpour which led to erosion divided the Yaounde- Douala road situated about 70KM from Boumnyebel.

The erosion which took place today, have seen several journey cancelled, while the stranded travelers have been posting photos on social media, where a huge white truck can also be seen struck to the divided highway.

When i see you guys complain about Buhari , i wonder ( humans always want more naturally though). Cameroons president has done nothing for the country and he has forcefully been there for over 30 years

  18. Linda the funny thing is the is the only road that connect the commercial capital Douala to the Country Capital of Yaounde. Funny enough the only alternative is the rail. this morning while people all rush to take the train, it was over crowded and has a result the was a derailment this afternoon. so its a double tragedy today and their president is still on holidays in Geneva. the president has not been seen since after the UN GA meeting in NY in September. what a country.

    .

  22. The situation has became worse because people who couldnt travel by car or bus to Douala went to use the train and now some of them are dead in the train accident of yesterday. May their souls rest in peace
