Do people keep a piece of their wedding cake until their child turns 1? As Tiwa Savage shared
...via Snapchat. However, the singer and Mother-of-one did
not indicate whether she was the one who observed such tradition. Her
son with Teebillz, Jamil turned one-year-old back in July.
It depends. If the cake was well preserved with alchohol and well refrigerated without power interruption, the case will still be fresh but the tradition i know about is to keep the cake till your first wedding aniversary irrespective of whether you have a child or not. I dont know about child's first birthday oh

Dear Linda, since you're expanding the scope of LIB and your media empire in general, why no do an exclusive with a cake person in Nigeria on this subject matter. Cake shouldn't b wrapped in aluminium foil if the plan is to keep for a year.
Yes.Read it somewhere before, I was really surprised but to me, it's nonsense and poverty.why can't I order for another cake when it's my child's birthday?
Very well..my aunt kept hers for 5 years sef so far it's kept in the refridgerator. Her 2 kids tasted the cake, her 3rd child did not because the cake got bad when she traveled, thanks to NEPA. Mine stayed for a year,we ate it on our 1st anniversary
Hian the cake go spoil na
ReplyDeleteA really good cake won't. It's a trad we all kept in my family. Bt ours is 1st wedding anniversary or birth of first child whichever comes first.

ReplyDeleteYes they do. If the cake is well baked, and we'll preserved.
ReplyDeleteTraditionally the bottom tier of a wedding cake should be a fruit cake. You would traditionally save it for one year for you child's Christening cake.
