Do people keep a piece of their wedding cake until their child turns 1? As Tiwa Savage shared

    1. A really good cake won't. It's a trad we all kept in my family. Bt ours is 1st wedding anniversary or birth of first child whichever comes first.

If the cake was well preserved with alchohol and well refrigerated without power interruption, the case will still be fresh but the tradition i know about is to keep the cake till your first wedding aniversary irrespective of whether you have a child or not. I dont know about child's first birthday oh

    5. Dear Linda, since you're expanding the scope of LIB and your media empire in general, why no do an exclusive with a cake person in Nigeria on this subject matter. Cake shouldn't b wrapped in aluminium foil if the plan is to keep for a year.

  17. Traditionally the bottom tier of a wedding cake should be a fruit cake. You would traditionally save it for one year for you child's Christening cake.

  19. Very well..my aunt kept hers for 5 years sef so far it's kept in the refridgerator.Her 2 kids tasted the cake,her 3rd child did not because the cake got bad when she traveled,thanks to NEPA. Mine stayed for a year,we ate it on our 1st anniversary
