Photos: Kano state gov offers scholarship to female student who had A1 in all her 9 registered WAEC subjects

Kano state governor, Umar Ganduje, on Saturday offered automatic scholarship to an indigene of the state, Fa’iza Sani Abubakar, for her excellent performance in the just released Senior Secondary School WAEC examinations.

Fa’iza, who hails from Bakin Zuwo in Kano, scored distinctions (A 1), in all 9 subjects she sat for, at Olumawu College, Wuse 2, Abuja. Governor Ganduje explained that the scholarship is meant to cover her undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate degrees, at any university of her choice across the world.

Already, she has been offered admission by at least seven universities in the United Kingdom and one university in Egypt, to study.

    1. I wish northerners will take advantage of this and study well. Their governors are always willing to support the intelligent ones in school. In the south eastern states, no1 has time for you because almost every school will produce some all A1s.

  7. The next thing those abokis will start thinking of how to marry her off that's one thing they are very good at destroying female destinies by marrying them at their very tender age when they should acquire relevant knowledge

    1. Decendant of armed robbers, what about girls? @ this age they are already professional prostitutes, isn't it better to marry them off at 17 than to allow them become ur girls? Idiots never seeing any good in the north, yet can't stay in their cursed region.
