Tiwa Savage who is in South Africa received the Hero of the month award for her contribution in assisting underprivileged children across Africa. She shared the award and wrote:
Yesterday I was presented with the "Hero Of the Month" Award by the lovely people @reelafrican ... It was such an honor to receive this and it really means a lot to me. Making music is just part of my story. Touching lives and using my platform to make a change no matter how little is ultimately the goal and this award just reminds me of how important that is. A huge thank you to @matthewmensah you've been such a sweetheart and an incredible help to me #ILoveSA #siyabonga #RED
Philanthropist Mathew Mensah congratulated her for the award and wrote:
What a way to start the day yesterday; With My Sister Tiwa @tiwasavage receiving The award Hero Of The Month for her fantastic work for underprivileged children across Africa. Witnessing all the work you have put in and dedication to especially Orphans & Stop child trafficking in Africa has been mindblowing. Im so proud to have the privilege to work with You & benefit from the many great ideas & concepts you have helped create for the Orphanage Africa campaign & Stop Child Trafficking whilst also using your huge reach to help create awareness.
Our work with another Real African Hero; The Honorable Minister of Home Affairs South Africa @malusi_gigaba on the issue of Child Trafficking in Africa showed how strong we are when we come together as One to fight child trafficking. Congratulations Tiwa and may God continue to Bless You.

ReplyDeleteA lot, just because she doesn't publicize it does not mean she is not doing it ,av seen a lot of her visit to motherless baby home in nigeria,in fact there is a recent one like 2 or 3months ago and yes this got online because she was appreciated for it and got an award. How many people have they given such award to in Nigeria?Maybe if they start recognizing such people we will all know most the celebrities are doing all that and more underground.

She should name what she has done and prove that this is not another Mensah stunt. These people make me sick. Tiwa Savage has never done anything for anyone without making it public which is why this award is also public. Do you people think that we are fools. This is just something to show off to Americans that she does stuff for charity.
