Hi linda,i read ur blog every now and then and I know thru ur blog a woman I met today @ island maternity can get help frm ppl or human right organization. I went to visit an inlaw and saw a woman right infront of her bed carrying a Lil baby looking helpless. There I ask my sis inlaw watup, she said she met the lady der and d lady told her she has nt been discharged because she could not afford her bill.70000naira. I ask about her family she said dey abandoned her cos they didnot want her to marry a malam, den I ask of her hubby,she said he is stranded in the village dat he can't afford d fare to come to lagos.i ask how she's been feeding, clothing and cater for the child. The hosp management stoped giving her food since she cldnt affrd the bill and it's the Lil she gets from ppl she feeds with and got the baby few cloths and diaper. She has been der since June 5 till now. Linda pls she needs help. Her name is blessing n she's on the third floor whre new momies re kept. Please she needs help
I think you guys should allow president Buhari to get serious with his presidential duties instead of these fashion fair, baby cuddling and whatever side attraction pictures all the time. That is not what we need in Nigeria at the moment. Thank u.
