Police arrest widow alleged to use secondary school students for sex in Lagos

The Lagos state Police command yesterday paraded Chinonso Okolokwo, who is alleged to engage young secondary school female students in prostitution in the state. According to the Lagos state police commissioner, Fatai Owoseni, Chinonso, who hails from Ebonyi state, goes to different secondary schools in the Surulere area in Lagos state within school hours to lure female students between 12 to 15 years of age to a hotel.

Okolokwo, according to the CP, would give the students clothes to change into, take them to hotels where they meet men, who sleep with them. She would then pay them between N1,000 and N2,000, depending on the number of men they attended to.

"Detectives arrested her on Wednesday. Her mode of operation is to target some secondary schools in the area. She, together with her cohorts, would go to the schools and get the girls to a hotel. The hotel is located in Ikate, Surulere. She would change their clothes and use them as sex slaves. She would keep the girls in the hotel until the school closing time and make them change back into their uniforms. Investigation is still ongoing, and we will extend it to the hotel and the schools which are involved. We want to see whether there is connivance between the suspect and the school authorities.”he said

When interrogated, the suspect said she is a widow and mother of four. According to her, she took to prostitution after the death of her husband
“I do not know anything about the schoolgirls. I am also a ‘hustler’ at Sunderland Hotel. I took to prostitution after the death of my husband 11 years ago. I have four children, but two died before my husband. I lodged at the hotel for a week or two before going home to take care of my children with the proceeds. Several girls from Abuja and other parts of the country come there to hustle as well. Police raided the hotel and arrested me. I am not connected with what they alleged.”she said

  23. people should examine this story objectively not relying on what the police has alleged.the woman admitted being a prostitute but not having anything to do with school girls.by the way what can she tell a school girl whom she does not know and has never met before.how does she gain access to school premises without a contact.I'm saying this advisably who ever that is handling this case should have investigated it properly before posting to the public. I don't want to start thinking that some body want to blackmail some body due to one reason or the other.if being a prostitute is an offense in Nigerian constitution let them charge her for that.

  24. alleged out of sentiment. if prostitution is an offense in Nigerian constitution they should charge her for that,if not they should let go of her instead of attaching a story of chibok school girls again just to ruin her carrier.who knows if the woman refuse the officer to shine her kongo''''TRUST OUR POLICE.if they mean you HA''

  28. Nigerian police with their useless stories!
I bet you this woman has nothing to do with any students, if there's any student involve in this story the Nigerian police would have shown her here.
They just want to punish that lady because she refuse to give them money or sex.
Fuck Nigerian police and their way of job.

  29. the fact that this thing called 'Freeborn' has not been banned from this blog is an indication of the kind of person Linda is...I'm equally sure she blocks comments from people who want to market goods/services but she allows this rude and tribal rubbish!!
