Rangers at the Yankari National Park - a large wildlife
park located in Bauchi State, have arrested two notorious elephant
poachers; Danladi Garba and Umaru Buba (Both pictured). During the
arrest, one of the poachers engaged the rangers in a gun battle but it
was resisted.
While none of the rangers were injured, one of the
poachers got wounded in one of his legs and is reportedly receiving
treatment. They have since been handed over to the police.
