Support the FG in its fight against terrorism- Goodluck Jonathan appeals to all Nigerians

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has appealed to all Nigerians to support the Federal government in its fight against terrorism. Jonathan stated this via his twitter handle while condoling with families of the victims of Boko Haram attack in Adamawa state on Thursday June 17th.
Suspected Boko Haram members stormed a funeral service in Kuda village, Adamawa state, opened fire at the mourners , killing 20 other them who were mostly women.

    1. GEJ it was in your regime that terrorism really gained grounds in Nigeria and you guys looted all the money meant for the fight against terrorism. Now, you want Buhari to clean up your mess and fix the problem while your wailing supporters continue to criticise him unjustly

    2. Very funny . He says support the FG and you are saying something else.buhari and APC never said something positive like this

  7. Of course sir it's your civic responsibility to urge Nigerians to support the fight against terrorism. If my memory serves me right, this whole thing escalated during your tenure, under your very watch. Instead of fighting those boys with all we've got, the army got politicised, your advisers refused to give you a clear picture of what was going on in the north east(as you yourself rightly said), the likes of Dasuki and his cohort hijacked the money meant for fighting terrorism and mutiny became the order of the day. This and corruption were your crimes, and we ousted you from power.
I'd be surprised if you don't condemn it, coz the embers of terrorism was fanned during your Administration!

  12. Good talk..but how U never said anything about your brothers that are terrorising our economy is fishy...Baba for the boys

  13. Better. We learnt u are good man. Only that u are weak and surrounded urself with thieves and Rogues. Also talk to your brothers to stop the destruction of oil pipelines and facilities. U need to reciprocate Fed govt good gestures of not trying u for corruption. So as to encourage sit-tight African leaders to voluntarily relinquish their posts and not being paranoid of trial after leaving office.

    1. He should also talk to his brothers to stop the pipeline vandalism!! I believed if Buhari had spoken to his brothers then to stop killing I believed there wouldn't be bokoharam by now..

  14. That's OK. Gentleman Ebele. Only that while u were in office. Ur kinsmen forgot that u are d president of Nigeria not ijaw. Any constructive criticism of ur govt was seen as an attack on ijaw. They are small people and refused to grow up. When u were sidelined during Yar Adua's illness. Ur people kept mum. We neither heard anything from Clerk nor Tombolo. It was in d south West people like Tunde Bakare, Soyinka, falana, formed d save Nigeria group to rescue d presidency from Northern cabal

  15. When you had a chance of nipping it in tge bud you were busy doling out money to your friends and sharing the one budgeted for the fight.

You fall my hand bad. I voted for yiu in 2011 and convinced most of my friends to vote likewise. You lost me when you played politics with the chibok girls. If they were your daughters would you have reacted same way?

Just so you know I voted against you in 2015 and also convinced my friends likewise. Buhari is not a messiah but he would checkmate insecurity and corruption which yiu helped grow. He however needs help with the economy.

  18. Sir Jona, your government looted the country, dry and left us in the red. We are suffering today because of your incompetence, and the greed and wickedness of you and others who served under you. People are dieing of hunger, your boys in the niger delta are strangulation the economy in the name of struggle to liberate the niger delta, a struggle which could easily have been achieved during ur time since u are one of them. Sir Jona, tell this to your boys and you and all your cabinet members should quietly return our stolen funds starched away in different countries. You guys are the main terrorists in this country. There will be a special place in HELL for people like you. Who claim to be a hero, yet cannot openly confess, return our loot and apologise to the public.

  23. One thing I admire about GEJ is his meek heart he possessed.its simply beyond imagination.
Some people slaped him before he became deputy governor of bayelsa state then when he became governor of bayelsa state those people ran out of the state thing GEJ will come for them.but, he never remembered them.subsequently he became governor and then president still never came for them.instead was even good to them.

Sir, I love to meet you one day.

Back to the bowl of contention.
Through out the time boko haram killed people in thousand day after day, week after week, momth after month.... During GEJ administration Buhari who happend to be current president now never in one day come out to condemn these people, neither did he ever came out to condole with the families of those killed in those attacks.
Posterity will judge.except buhari is clean but if he is not clean the blood of those that died will surely hurnt him.

    God bless NIGERIA.

  32. Again another questionable post probably supported by the hungry wolves hanging around him in social media. He should not be like OBJ but start a foundation to help clean up the creeks, birth control or soemthing. Leave politics and canvassing for the government and the self centered/crooked politicians alone.

    ReplyDelete
  33. He should do(actively) something that sovles a problem in the lives of some people. Not this typical bla blah contrived by people unable to make a difference and which usually lead to stones and arrows from different corners, it will then stop and before you knwo it, start again. A never ending cycle of noise and flies hovering around a decaying nation with people in my/their village are still struggling with the basic necessities of life.
