House of Representatives' Committee on Sports backs Amaju Pinnick as NFF President

Intervening in the Crisis rocking the Leadership of the Nigerian Football Federation, the House of Representatives' Committee on Sport has decided that the Presidency of Mr Amaju Pinnick of the NFF is not doubt. According to the committee, the lingering crises in the NFF was fueled by Personal Interests. The committee observed that Chris Giwa frustrated the amiable resolution initiated to resolve the crises and showed lack of confidence and respect for the authorities.

Reaching a decision, The Committee decided that the Sports Minister, Solomon Dalong and the Federal Government of Nigeria shall continue to recognize, work and support the NFF under Mr. Amaju Pinnick's Presidency.

The Inspector General of Police and other Security Agencies shall give full security protection to the NFF under Amaju Pinnick's Presidency.

Both the Federal Government and Security Operatives shall call Mr Chris Giwa and his group to order to ensure that the NFF does not continue to suffer or incur the wrath of FIFA.

The IGP and all other security agencies shall ensure that whoever creates problems in NFF or Nigeria's football shall be apprehended and prosecuted accordingly
