A Danfo driver died yesterday May 22nd during a fight with a police officer in Igando, Lagos
state. According to eyewitness report, the policeman
had stopped the bus and asked for bribe and when the bus driver
refused to give him any money, he dragged him from the bus and began beating
him. As they were fighting, the bus driver fell into a gutter, hit
his head on the edge of the gutter and died instantly. A photo of the deceased after the cut...

An accident occured along Enugu Express road caused by touts asking for money. The police are not left out in this scam. Its time to know your rights than been bullied by tax force and policemen.

ReplyDeleteThe title of this news item is False. The danfo driver had an epilectic seizure while he was begging the policemen to accept N200 instead of the N500 they asked him to pay. As the seizure ensued, he fell into the very dirty gutter and probably drowned. The confused policeman who didn't bail like his colleague then dragged the driver out of the gutter but it was too late. I asked for am email upload link to submit this story yesterday but I didn't get a response.
