Photos: Fire outbreak caused by motorcycle carrying 30 liters of petrol in Ikeja
A one-storey building went up in flames this afternoon after a motorcycle carrying 30 liters of petrol went up in flames. The fire was however immediately contained. See more photos after the cut.
Linda, this is awolowo road ikoyi, by barracks bus-stop. The building houses signature gallery. Furthermore the cause of fire is people siphoning fuel from generator into jerry cans for sales in the black market in the building while a passer by lighted a cigarette
Mr fireman pls get your facts right! The generators in signature compound are diesel and the fire started by the okada man outside the compound. AND BY THE WAY WE THAnK THE FIRE BRIGADE FOR COMING TO THE SCENE AFTER THE FIRE WAS PUT OUT
Linda will u blame him for carry d fuel? Am so tired of this this suffering. Is no longer suffering n smiling o. We dey vex!! The country doesn't seem to favour the masses in any way double the price of product even tfare.SMH
it's what our government have caused, trust me if the man had light in his house or could drive into any filling station to get fuel, this wont have happened. Smh...
To be honest, some pole are so careless.yesterday my neighbor send her 3yrs old to get her matches from a nearby store hmmmm guess what happen..........
@Linda This happened was caused by electric spark in the building this afternoon on Awolowo Road Ikoyi opposite Oando filling station NOT Ikeja, NOT fuel related. We were overlooking the incident from the top of my office.
