The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted former Minister of Interior, Abba Moro and two others bail. Delivering judgement on his bail application, the presiding judge, Justice A.I Chikere granted Moro bail on self recognition. According to her, Moro has been a public servant without any record of criminality and will not jump bail.

She also granted Moro's co-accused named Anastasia Daniel Nwobia and F. O Alayebami bail in the sum of N100 million each with one surety each in like sum. She fixed April 27th for commencement of trial. Moro and three others are standing trial for an 11-count charge bordering on abuse of procurement process and diversion of public funds including N676 million they illegally collected from immigration job applicants.

    1. You're ignorantly backward... The bail money stays with the court.

Ask the judiciary why the lengthy trial period?
