Naked man storms into cafe, lays on table and demands to be killed

A shocking footage shows the moment a naked man walks into a restaurant and lays down on a table.
With only one woman working in the cafe, the man starts shouting at her and asking her to shoot him in the head.
He lays face up on a long table, sits on the counter and at one terrifying point he follows the woman into a back room as she tries to get away from him.
He is reported to have shouted: "Kill me, please. "Hurry, shoot in the head.

"Push the panic button and bring the Special Forces squad in here, fast."

The worker tells him: "I already pushed the alarm button, but just get off the counter please."
The man clearly in a state of distress replies: "I won't, I am going to sit here."

He starts wiping things off the counter and tries to break into the cupboard where the woman is shouting at him.
When police officers arrive they immediately push the man to the floor, where he is sedated by medical staff.

The incident, which took place in the central Russian city of Saratov, ended when the police escorted the man out of the building.
He was taken to a secure psychiatric unit for treatment.
