Olisa Metuh arraigned in court, to remain in Kuje prison until Jan 19th

National Publicity Secretary of PDP, Olisa Metuh was this morning arraigned before Justice Abang Okon of a Federal High Court in Abuja. Olisa Metuh was arraigned on a 7-count charge of corruption and money laundering. He pleaded not guilty to the charge when read to him. The judge deferred his bail hearing till January 19th and ordered that he be remanded in Kuje prison. Metuh was arrested in connection with the $2.1 billion arms deal on January 5th.

    It's so annoying when some people,while glaring at a blatant truth,still politicize a grave issue such as squandering arms deal's money.Someone gave Metuh such staggering amount of money for election and yet he didn't ask questions. So many soldiers died because that money was diverted,that's the heights of unpatriotism. Abeg return our money biko!

    Now he prefers that. He could just have plainly stated how the money was paid to his account, what he knew about it, how he used it and how he will refund it. Now he has messed up his reputation, PDP image (if they still had anything left), damaged Nnewi people and dragged everyone down with him. Let him be sent to one if those cells where they will shower him first with urine as a welcome baptism. Very good example of how not be a public figure.
