Buhari's government will not stifle social media- Lai Mohammed

Minister of Information Lai Mohammed says the Buhari-led government will not stifle social media but instead will patronize it. Lai said this when he met with Online Publishers in Lagos today January 22nd, in continuation of his ongoing consultation with practitioners in the Information and Culture sector. He said all the government is asking for is that the media avoid sensationalizing their news
"All we ask for, in return, is that you provide accurate information to the people, and avoid sensationalism and partisanship”he said.

  18. Mr Lai is just afraid of his sins, what he did to get power is just his fear. If he uses Lies, false accusations, hacking into peoples account, falsification of information, false speculations, propaganda etc to bring down the former Govt he should be aware that what goes around comes around. he should open his hand to receive the same and not scuffle the social media or fight people accusing his evils. he was too good that his name was changed to Liar Mohammed.

Abeg deal with the card you are dealt. You asked for power, we didn't force you guys. Accept it as your colleagues all over the world do. -newyorker ( Linda let's get married )

Yes Mr Lying Mohammed the social media will provide the type of "accurate information" you provided during Jonathan's regime that earned you Liar or Lying as your first name. What goes round comes around; including being put in hand cuffs. Just wait because very soon you will be protesting that you should not be put in hand cuffs for receiving money from Buhari.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Liar Mohammed has no more credibility to be a minister in any serious minded government.
