Three young friends lose their lives in fatal road crash

Three friends namely, Stephen Evans, 20, Rebecca Nabarro, 23 and Casey Flissikowski, 18 lost their lives in a fatal head-on crash when their Vauxhall Corsa collided with a red Jaguar XS. The driver of the Jaguar, a man in his 60s survived the crash and is being treated in hospital. A 19-year-old male who was in the car with the friends is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The tragedy happened in Fancott, near Toddington, Bedfordshire, late on Tuesday night Dec. 1st. Friends and family have been speaking of their grief and paying tribute.

Stephen's family said in a tribute last night: "The family are completely devastated at the loss of Stephen.

"He was a very much loved son, brother and grandson and will be completely missed by all of his family and friends.
"The family are thinking of the other families going through this difficult time."

Casey's family said: "She was a beautiful, hard-working girl and she will be forever missed.
"The family are devastated at the loss of Casey in a tragic road collision last night. Our sympathies go to the other families involved."

Cathy Barr, principal at South Academy in Luton where Casey was a former pupil, said: "From the day she joined us, Casey grabbed all opportunities provided to her with both hands, achieving fantastic results and flourishing into a determined and independent student.
"Casey was an articulate, polite and hardworking young lady who had high hopes, dreams and aspirations for her life ahead.
"Throughout her time in sixth form, she played a key role in representing all students. She was an inspiration to younger pupils in the school."
A colleague at the Haywood House Care home, where Casey had worked for more than a year, said: "She was popular with staff and students and dedicated to looking after people."
Rebecca's family said: "Rebecca was completely adored by all in her family.

"The messages we have had from all of her many friends just goes to show how much she was loved and will be missed."
