Photos: Wife of Nigerian Ebola survivor delivers baby

Wife of one of the Doctors at First Consultant Hospital in Lagos, Dr Adewale Adejoro, gave birth to an Ebola-free baby girl on Tuesday December 1st, a month after another Ebola survivor, Dr Ada Igonoh gave birth to a baby girl in the US. Dr Adewale was the first doctor to have come in contact with the first case of Ebola in Nigeria, Patrick Sawyerr.

Dr Adewale had gone into Patrick Sawyerr's hospital room to fix a drip on him when he shook hands with the Liberian and then contracted the deadly virus that caused an epidemic in Nigeria last year.

  13. I really, truly do not understand why they are labeling these people for life. which wan be 'wife of ebola survivor nah??? is 'wife of ebola survivor' now a title, her only accomplishment in life or the only thing we should remember her for??? as a matter of fact, it now sounds like her name abi dem no give am name when dem born am???

in some other parts of the world people like LIB and others who are stigmatizing her like this will be sued for BIG money.

LIB, the fact that others call her this doesn't mean you should follow suit. You can tell the encouraging story of survival by herself/her husband without branding her. her name is not 'wife of ebola survivor'...haba!!!
