Photos: Tanker drivers cause traffic gridlock in many parts of Lagos this morning

Tanker drivers queuing to buy fuel at the Apapa petroleum depot are causing serious traffic gridlock in Lagos this morning as most of them are lined packed along the bridges leading to the Island. From Iponri to Alaka, Costain, Ojuelegba and environs, serious traffic gridlock which started since yesterday is still being experienced.

  21. How can just 1 depot be the source of petroleum products and also port for imported goods be at w location(apapa) in the whole nation? What happened to onne, warri nd akwa-ibom?? This govt should do something about decentralizing the port as to stop this traffic, instead they are debating on social media bill...CHANGE INDEED!!

  30. what do you all expect when you have a toothless dog for a governor? Jimi had ideas, he could've transformed Lagos from a one man's city to the global city status she deserves but noooooo, yall were too myopic to see that. the foolish VGC residents who sold their futures for ice cream shouldn't complain.
