  16. Barely a month, saw one that has been dented already. It's not about just buying for the police! The police force has to instill discipline in its officers so they don't damage them all in a period of a year n start crying they are not well equipped .

  18. Seeing these cars all around is quite sweet and pleasing and we know the governor means well and wants the best for Lagos but...
I am extremely worried by the antecedents of the end users of these sleek looking vehicles. Men of the Nigeria Police have some of the worst non challance on record towards automobiles (be it theirs or those on detention at their stations.) Six month old Hilux patrol trucks look like something straight out of the movie Mad Max: broken to non existent tail lights, shredded upholstery, battered body work, passenger compartments with enough sand and grime to initiate a raft foundation...
And to these men we have just given brand new white, as in W-H-I-T-E colour vehicles to plunder, abuse and pillage without remorse... Anyone remember what fate befell those gorgeous white Toyota Prado SUVs donated by ALGON not quite long ago to same Police?
Like Linda I can only say CHOI! while hanging on for the brief cruise.

  19. Is not by buying this new cars for this police people but give the car first 6months and see what happen to them??? And also,i saw them. Along Lekki raod yesterday using it to harrase truck drivers blocking them as if they re the robbers they are asked to chase....Nigeria police will never change is not be buying them a new car.

  20. give them just 3 months, the cars will turn to another thing...

  21. I hope they maintain them properly, so they won't come and start crying that they are under-equipped after damaging the cars.
