Photos: 10-year-old girl crushed to death in Obadore, Lagos

A 10-year-old girl was on Friday, December 4, crushed to death at Obadore, along LASU-Ojo road at about 2:00pm, PM News reports. The driver, a woman said to be in her early 30s was trying to avoid a trailer behind her when she drove her car into a nearby market and crushed the young girl instantly.

The Rapid Response Squad from Igando unit arrived the scene shortly after the accident and ensured the crowd didn't take law into their hands. The father of the dead girl came to retrieve her body while the mother said she would not hold the woman responsible for the death of her child but would rather return to the mosque for prayers.

  2. "Trying to avoid a trailer " if a different lane was given for these useless trailers and trucks, would this have happened? I don't blame AMBODE. It's the water in his coconut head that's disturbing him.

  20. Wow. Im crying with my hands shaking. I drove pass this place and saw a lot of people gathered around that side, but i wasn't sure what was going on there. I suspected it was an accident but then it was a market so i started to think otherwise and was hoping it wasnt an accident coz the crowd in that area at tht point in time made me beleive someone must have been terribly injured or dead, but another part of me was saying, it cant be, i hope not. Its just so sad. My prayer now is for God to grant the parents the spirit to bear the loss. So sad. Rip little angel.
